End of "retirement"

Here are a few shots of the new store. Have to say it's nice getting back to regular hours although our short "retirement" last month was fun.

Today is the day!

We are all set and ready for action. Today we will be open from 11-6 - so come on in and say hello.

Our regular hours will be 11-6 Monday-Saturday / closed on Sunday.

Almost there.

The signs are in being hung by the rafters with care. All in hopes that tomorrow we will open the doors like a breath of fresh air.

Things are shaping up and it's starting to look like a store. We should be open by the end of this week so stop in to take a peek and say hi.

Here We Go!

We've finally made it to Asheville - and we're now about to set up our new shop WHIST, located at 428A Haywood Road in West Asheville. 

We can't tell you how excited we are to be here in this community, nestled up in the Western Carolina mountains. It seems a vibrant and unique setting that we look forward to exploring and getting to know inside and out.

The truck arrived in the rain from Brooklyn, and it seems like we already filled the space.

Everything is getting a fresh coat of paint. Including myself as well it seems.

Nora is wondering if we will ever get it all done. The answer is "yes!" and it should be sometime around the 12th of September. Check back soon to see how we are progressing.
